Are you looking to start your own business but don’t know where to begin?

The Stepping Stones Program offers FREE financial literacy and small business training for women from refugee and migrant backgrounds. This program is delivered by the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) in partnership with Banyule City Council. 

Participants of the Stepping Stones Program learn how to:

  • Choose a pathway that is based on strengths
  • Turn an idea into a small business
  • Complete a business plan
  • Develop skills and systems to run a small business
  • Understand business culture and systems in Australia
  • Source money (capital) to start your business

The Stepping Stones program will start on Friday, 2 March 2018, at The Harmony Centre, Shop 48, Bell Street Mall, Heidelberg West.
