The Economic Development Team were successful in securing a Living Local Fund Grant to reinvigorate an outdoor precinct for the local community that reconnects and reengages with the local neighbourhood activity centre, Diamond Village. The space was designed as a sustainable and attractive focal point to help foster social connection and reinvigorate the local economy.

We received grants from the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, as well as contributions from Banyule Council.

With the funds we have been able to achieve:
A complete rebrand of the centre
New signage
New mural representing local flora and fauna
New seating for the centre
Refresh of all garden beds
New seating in the arcade
Painting of arcade skylights and beams
Removal of old signage
Painting of bollards and bike racks
