Banyule is a diverse community, made up of people from different cultures, beliefs, abilities, bodies, ages, sexualities, genders and identities. Banyule City Council is committed to inclusion, access and equity for everyone, understanding that these principles foster cohesiveness, empower people and improve the wellbeing of the Banyule community.”

As part of Council’s commitment to an Inclusive Banyule, we have launched the first in a series of Inclusive Business Guides to support business owners and their staff to meet the needs and desires of their diverse customer base.

The first, an LGBTIQ+ Inclusive Business Guide is out now! Businesses can order a free toolkit containing an Inclusive Business Checklist, 101 Factsheet and a Rainbow sticker to show your support for Banyule’s Rainbow Community of lesbian, bisexual, gay, trans, intersex and queer/questioning residents and visitors.

Contact Myfan.Jordan@banyule.vic.gov.au in the Community and Social Planning Team to order your pack by post.
