Under Stage 4 ‘Stay at Home’ Restrictions the default is that workplaces in metropolitan Melbourne are closed unless the workplace is part of a permitted industry as set out by Department of Health and Human Services in this document

In the circumstances that businesses are able to open or operate, even in limited or different capacity, they must have a COVID Safe plan in place. Understand your requirements and prepare your workplace COVID Safe plan here.

The Business Support Fund Expansion  is available to support businesses in metropolitan Melbourne. The funding has been increased by a further $5,000 (to $10,000) Applications for the program will be extended until 14 September 2020. Application can be made via Business Victoria

The worker permit scheme will provide workers with a permit that can be presented to authorities which justifies their reason for leaving home. Permits will need to be issued by business owners  to all workers traveling for work. download the template  Editable Word Version or PDF Version.
