Under Stage 4 ‘Stay at Home’ Restrictions the default is that workplaces in metropolitan Melbourne are closed unless the workplace is part of a permitted industry as set out by Department of Health and Human Services in this document

The Business Support Fund Expansion is available to support businesses in metropolitan Melbourne. The funding has been increased by a further $5,000 (to $10,000) Applications for the program will be extended until 14 September 2020. Application can be made via Business Victoria
The worker permit scheme will provide workers with a permit that can be presented to authorities which justifies their reason for leaving home.
