The Victorian Government has developed, a visitation Application Programming Interface (API). That  allows QR code systems to integrate with Victoria’s Department of Health contact tracing system technology.

From 27 March 2021, businesses using electronic record-keeping must only use QR Code providers who are connected to the API.

If you are using the Victorian Government QR Code Service or a QR code service that integrates to the API you do not need to do anything.

If you do need to change providers, the he Victorian Government QR Code Service is easy to use and is free for all Victorian businesses and organisations.
