Banyule City Council have undertaken a feasibility study and survey with social enterprise Renew Australia to explore the appetite for an underutilised commercial spaces project in Eaglemont Village and the Bell Street Mall.

In summary Renew Australia has been unsuccessful in identifying vacant property and owners/agents committed to entering their property in a Renew project in the limited study areas of Eaglemont Village and the Bell Street Mall. Available vacant properties were not found in Eaglemont, while property owners are seeking commercial leases for Bell Street Mall properties. Banyule City Council will continue to support the precincts through placemaking initiatives and activation.
