Our Annual Women in Business Luncheon event will be held on Friday 19 May 2023 with special guest speaker Lisa Gorman.
Our Women in Business Event is held annually to celebrate great business minds, up and coming entrepreneurs and the important role women play in our business community. It also provides an opportunity for like-minded individuals to engage and establish valuable connections, as well as hearing from dynamic and successful guest speakers.
Banyule City Council is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated 2023 Women in Business Luncheon, an event that promises to inspire and connect professionals from all industries.
This year’s event will feature a very special guest speaker: Lisa Gorman, Founder and Creative Director of the iconic Gorman Clothing brand. Lisa has an impressive background as an entrepreneur and business leader, and her journey from a one-woman operation in her share house to a thriving fashion empire is an inspiring story that is sure to resonate with attendees.
In addition to hearing from Lisa, guests will have the opportunity to network with each other during the event. Ailsa Page, an experienced networking facilitator, will be on hand to help guests connect and build valuable professional relationships.
The luncheon will include a delectable two-course meal, and attendees will also have the chance to win some amazing door prizes.
Lisa is well-known for her passion for collaboration and celebrating diversity. She has undertaken some incredible projects that have brought together artists from marginalised backgrounds, and we are honored to have her join us for this event. We can’t wait to hear her insights on leadership, creativity, and community.
