Banyule Council, in collaboration with NORTH Link, is thrilled to present the 2024 Northern Business Achievement Awards (NBAA). These awards give the opportunity for businesses across Melbourne’s North to be spotlighted and provides recognition and exposure for outstanding business achievements and contributions.

Why should you enter?

If your business has made remarkable strides in 2024, or you think your business’ story and achievements are worth sharing – this is your moment to shine!

What are the awards?

Each year Banyule, Darebin, Hume, Merri-Bek, Nillumbik and Whittlesea Councils each nominate two businesses for the NBAA Business of the Year Award. Each Council must also nominate an outstanding young person for the Young Business Achiever Award.

How to enter?

The expression of interest form takes roughly 15 minutes to complete and gives you the opportunity to tell us why your business should be nominated. It’s free!

What are the benefits? 

If you’re chosen to represent Banyule, your business will be spotlighted in a video showcased at the NBAA breakfast, attended by around 200 influential people from Melbourne’s North. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to promote your business during an on-stage Q&A session. Nominees will also gain exposure through Banyule City Council’s social media channels and newsletters. The cost and creation of the video is covered by Banyule Council, a great marketing tool for your business to continue to use!

What do you have to attend?

If your business is chosen you will be required to attend a breakfast on Thursday 5 September. Attendance at these breakfasts provides organisations with exposure to over 200 people consisting of a range business leaders. Attendance is also required at the Grand Finale Gala on Thursday 5 December, a wonderful night to celebrate businesses from all over Melbourne’s North.

Last year Banyule Council nominated Little Heroes Australia and PartMaker Pty Ltd. Little Heroes Australia are a registered NDIS provider specialising in early intervention and support coordinators for all children. They started in 2016 with 4 staff members and now employ 70 people and continue to grow.

And PartMaker is one of the leading TGA certified medical device manufacturers in not only Melbourne, but also Australia. Specialising in the manufacture of customised dental implant solutions including instruments, components and prosthesis. They are leading the technology of providing dental solutions to patients suffering from facial cancers.
